Founded in 1921, the SKS group, located in Sundern/Sauerland, today employs about 700 people in its operating companies: SKS-Metaplast, SKS Design, SKS USA Corp. and Schött in Menden. Today the company is run as a family owned business in its fourth and fifth generations.

SKS Design has its production plant located in Meschede-Freienohl and manufactures and distributes gift and homewares, mainly made in metal. The product range goes from the traditional, classical lines in pewter, which is manufactured by subsidiary ARTINA in Austria, through brass and high-value silver plated items, to modern lines in stainless steel, which are distributed under the brand name Blomus®. 

Stainless steel giftware has been produced since 1985. In Spring 2001,  the brand Blomus® was established to include the stainless steel ware which was designed exclusively for SKS Design. Today the Blomus® range contains around 550 products covering ranges for Kitchen, Living and Bath.  Blomus® has products for every room in the house and even outdoors.

Excellent service and brilliant pro active customer service which you don't often experience!
